Heat received from hot air or cool air which is heat-exchanged by an indoor heat exchanger 13 and passes through the air passage 16, can be stored. As a result, reduction in the room temperature generated during the turning OFF of the operation of the compressor and the defrosting mode operation thereof is suppressed to a small value so that no uncomfortaleness is felt by the user.
