Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain novel synthetic resin sheet material having a peculiar suitability by a method wherein the clearance between the adjacent sides of a concave and a convex portion with which a pair of raised rolls are engaged is made smaller than the thickness of the synthetic resin sheet. CONSTITUTION:The clearance 1 between the side wall of a concave portion 2 and that of a convex portion 3 with which a pair of rolls 1, 1' are engaged is made smaller than the thickness (t) of the synthetic resin sheet 10. The clearance (m) given when the bottom surface (a) of the concave portion 2 of one roll is engaged with the top surface (b) of the convex portion 3 of the other roll is made larger than the thickness (t) of the sheet 10. The plane synthetic sheet 10 that has passed between the rolls is pressed into continuous peculiar corrugated sheet 10. The plane portion P of the sheet 10 after processing has actually the same thickness (t) as the sheet 10 before processing and the expanded portion Q is formed when the sheet 10 passes through a clearance 1 smaller than the thickness (t) of the sheet 10, is as sufficiently soft as the plane portion P and constitutes the connecting portion of the plane portions P, P.

Conventionally, processes such as applying uneven patterns to synthetic resin sheets or crimping synthetic resin-coated wires by passing between a pair of rolls that have a predetermined surface shape and fit together have been carried out. However, in this type of conventional method, a pair of rolls are usually fitted with a certain gap between them.

The first inventor of the present invention has conducted various tests on synthetic resin processing methods in which a synthetic resin sheet is passed between a pair of rolls. We discovered that by modifying the gaps and their relationships, it is possible to obtain continuous, uniquely shaped processed products.

That is, the sheet 10' after processing has a shape in which flat plate portions P passing through the gap m and extension portions Q passing through the gap l are arranged alternately, and the jlZ treated portion P is substantially unprocessed. The thickness t of the previous sheet 1-10 is the same, and the elongated portion Q is formed by elongating the sheet 1o when passing through an interval β smaller than the thickness t of the sheet 1o, and is compared to the flat plate portion P. The flat plate part 1) is sufficiently soft and forms the connecting part of P.

FIG. 2 shows an alternative embodiment. The pair of rolls II, 11' used in this embodiment are comprised of four parts 2 of each.
2.22 and the convex portions 23, 23 are connected to the roll 11.11'
A gap β between the side walls of the concave portion 22 and the convex portion 33 that fit into each other, and a gap r between the bottom surface a′ of the concave portion 22 and the top surface b′ of the concave portion ' teeth,
Both are roll 1 shown in FIG. 1 (and FIG. 3). The gaps l and m between the rolls are the same, and even when the present invention is carried out by passing a synthetic resin sheet 1° (not shown) between the rolls 11. A sea 1-10' (see FIG. 2) having the same shape as that shown in FIG. 4 is removed.

In addition, in the embodiment described in -1, it is preferable that the gap (smaller than 1y L) between the four parts and the side walls of the convex part L is provided exactly the same on both sides of the convex part. As explained above, this gap l is 11 as long as it is smaller than the thickness t to be processed on either side. but,
In that case, the processed tassel 1- will have a different shape from that shown in FIG. 4 in that the extended portions Q are connected to either side of the flat plate portion P.

Synthetic resin sheet 1 to which the above-described processing method of the present invention can be applied
The material and thickness of the film (including the film and plate) are not limited to A or sushi, but as the JfA quality, polyolefins such as BoI7conytylene and polypropylene, vinyl chloride, etc. are preferable, and soft ones are used. In addition, the thickness t is highly effective when applied to a sheet with a thickness of about 0.5 to 2, and the gap e is preferably 0.05 to 0.1 as. It is preferably about 0.05 to 0.1 times.

As shown in Fig. 4, the processed sheet produced by the processing method of the present invention has an uneven shape in which flat plate portions and elongated portions are arranged alternately, and can be converged into a shape different from that of the sheet before processing. Because it has a unique texture, it can be used as a new abrasive material for various purposes, such as cushioning materials, sudare, shutter phase, honeycomb structure forming materials, etc.
Moreover, since it has the property of returning to its original sheet form when heated as necessary, it also has the effect of encouraging the development of new applications from this point of view. 1 sheet can have a form in which the pattern applied to the surface of sheets 1 to 1 before processing remains intermittently on the flat plate part, with an extended part that can be used as a transparent part interposed between them, so it can be used as a new decoration. It is also very effective.

As described above, the synthetic resin processing method of the present invention provides a new synthetic resin sheet abrasive material, and is easy to implement and has high industrial value. As shown in the figure, a pair of 11-ru studs are used, and the thickness is 0.
8 soft bolips! When the pyrene sheet was processed in the manner shown in FIG. 1, the processed sheet had a cross-sectional shape as shown in FIG. 4 -J. In addition, the diameter of the 12-rule in -1- is 100 degrees, the top surface of each concave part has 2.9 gates, the bottom surface of each of the four parts has +1 eye 13.0 fins, and what is the average gap on both sides of the convex part? Also 0.05m11, rotation speed 60r, p, m.
