Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to continuously work a battery type self-traveling truck for a long period by providing chargers at the stopping positions of the truck and charging during the stoppage. CONSTITUTION:A battery type self-traveling truck 18 runs along a guided cable 17 buried in a floor 1 according to an instruction applied by a computer 5 in a computer room 6. A power source for charging a battery is provided at the stopping position in which a pallet 20 is delivered to and received from a pallet changer 12, and a connector 15 which is connected to both electrode terminals of the truck is telescopically provided. When the truck 18 is stopped at the stopping position, the connector 15 is forwarded to connect it to the terminal of a battery, thereby charging the battery during the period until the prescribed work is completed at the stopping position.
