Such an oil tank has advantages such as being able to obtain a tank with a large capacity by using a frame, and cooling the oil by circulating the oil in a long passage. By the way, in the conventional oil tank of this type, the main pipe and the down tube are connected to each other by a tension pipe, and the entire length of the down tube is used as an oil storage space, and the top of this is connected to the frontmost part of the main pipe. Oil flows down into the down tube from the front and rear double passages, and the oil merges, making it difficult to achieve the best cooling performance.Air pockets may form at the top of the down tube, making it difficult for the oil to flow smoothly. The down tube must be oil-tight over its entire length, and the joint with the head tube must not only have mechanical strength but also be oil-tight, and welding is cumbersome. Two communicating pipes are required to connect the down tube and the main pipe, which increases the number of parts, and also leaves room for improvement, as manufacturing is troublesome and the number of welding steps increases.

るにある。The present invention has been made in view of the above, and an object of the present invention is to provide a plug or the like in the communication connection between the tension pipe and the down tube to partition the space above the down tube in an oil-tight manner, so that oil can be removed. By making the flow flow in one direction and in one system, it enhances the cooling effect, eliminates air pockets and smoothes the flow of oil, and also makes it easier to connect the down tube to the head tube, simplifying the structure, reducing the number of parts, and making it easier to manufacture. An object of the present invention is to provide an oil tank device for a motorcycle that is easy to use.

It consists of a case, etc. In the figure, 17 is a carburetor, and 33 is an air cleaner. FIG. 2 is a vertical side view of the main part of the frame, in which the front bottom 3a of the main vibe 3 extends forward approximately horizontally and is joined to the top of the down tube, and the main vibe 3 is connected to the top of the down tube.
The volume of the inner front part is increased, and the rear end of the main vibe 3 is oil-tightly closed with a stopper 32, thereby forming an oil storage chamber 17 tilted rearward and downward within the main vibe 3.

They are connected to each other, and the tension vibrator 18 is arranged so as to be inclined slightly forward and downward. A stopper 20 is provided above the confluence section 19 of the down tube 4 where the front end 18a of the tension vibrator 18 joins with the bip tube so as to close the cross section of the tube 4, thereby making it possible to connect the confluence section 19 above and below the confluence section 19. Separate the areas in an oil-tight manner. Therefore, an air chamber 21 is formed above the plug 20 and separated from the bottom thereof, and the bottom surface 20a of the plug 20 is arranged to be on an extension of the inner circumferential upper surface of the tension vibe 18. As a result, the chamber 17 inside the main vibe 3 and the space 2 inside the tension vibe 18
2, furthermore, the space 2 in the down tube 4 below the plug body 20
3, and these chambers and spaces constitute a substantial oil tank. An oil pan 24 is formed on the bottom of the case 16a at the lower part of the engine 16, and this and the bottom 4a of the space in the down tube 4 are connected to a communication pipe 2.
5, and the downstream part of the pipe 25 is connected to a pump 26, so that the pump 26 pumps and supplies oil to the crankshaft and other lubricating parts. On the other hand, oil pan 2
4 and the front part of the main vibe 3 are connected by a communication pipe 27, and the upper end of the communication pipe 27, that is, the downstream end, is connected to an outlet conduit 28 that runs vertically through the bottom 3a. Room 17
Opens forward and upward. The upstream end of the above communication pipe 27 is connected to a pump 29 forming an oil suction part in the oil pan 24,
The pump 29 sucks the lubricated oil in the oil pan 24 and pumps it into the main vibe 3 via the communication pipe 27. In the figure, numeral 30 denotes an oil inlet opening at the upper front of the main vibrator 3, which is normally closed with a cap 31. Next, to explain its function and effect in detail, the oil after lubrication is stored in the oil pan 24,
This high-temperature oil is pumped up by the pump 29 and discharged to a high position in the front of the main vibrator 3 through the communication pipe 27, and the oil is stored in the chamber 17 inside the vibrator 3.

。Oil is inlet 18b at the rear end of lower tension vibe 18
The tension vibe 18 flows forward into the space 22 because it is slightly tilted forward and downward, reaches the merging part 19 at the top of the down tube 4, and flows down because the down tube 4 is hanging down, and flows into the communication pipe 25. Then, it is pumped out by the pump 26 and supplied under pressure to the lubricating section. In the above, the oil flow is pumped up by the pump 29 and flows into the main vibe 3, flows into the tension vibe 18 only from below this, and further flows down into the down tube 4,
The high-temperature oil that has just been pumped up does not flow into the down tube, but only the oil that has been flowing in one direction through lines 17 and 22. Town tube 4 without mixing
The oil can be effectively cooled by flowing down inside.

易化を図ることができる。Note that it is optional to provide fins on the outer periphery of the down tube 4 to increase the heat radiation area and enhance the cooling effect. Next, the confluence of the tension vibe 18 and the down tube 4 is partitioned in an oil-tight manner and separated from the space 21 above, so that the oil flowing from the tension vibe is guided downward without flowing upward. In addition to smoothing the flow of oil, the connection between the upper end of the down tube 4 and the head tube 2 does not need to be oil-tight; a connection that is necessary and sufficient for strength is sufficient, welding work is facilitated, and the connection is oil-tight. In addition to eliminating the need for inspection, there is no need to connect any other type of vibrator other than the tension vibrator, making it possible to reduce the number of parts, reduce welding man-hours, and simplify manufacturing.
