According to an embodiment of the present invention, a first set of corrugations is formed on the strip plate overlapping a second set of corrugations, and the depth and pitch of the second set of corrugations are smaller than those of the first set; These corrugations are formed by a machining process in which they are formed at an angle with respect to the direction perpendicularly across the strip, and are laid on one side of the strip and the opposite side of the strip, forming the first set of corrugations. forming a double layer strip such that the ridges of the corrugations are at an angle to and lie across the ridges of the first set of adjacent layers;
A first set of ridges on the outer surface of the double layer strip is at an angle to a third set of ridges on the outer surface of an adjacent double layer strip and lies across the ridges of the double layer strip. overlapping the strips; and applying a catalyst material to the strip;
Provided is a method for producing a catalyst body having a through channel.

The step of laying a longitudinal direction of the strip over another longitudinal direction of the strip includes laying the longitudinal direction of the strip about one or more axes lying at an angle to the crests of the first set of corrugations. This can be achieved by folding a single longitudinal direction of the plate.

これは1つ以上の区域19と穴20を必要とする。This requires one or more areas 19 and holes 20.

Formed from a single continuous strip 12 by alternatingly folding the single layer strip 12 first to one side and then to the other about a continuous axis extending along the strip parallel to the longitudinal axis 18. It is possible to make a body consisting of alternating corrugated layers.
