一次側に誘起される電圧を抵抗分圧回路によって分圧し
、その分圧点の電位に応じて制御用トランジスタのオン
、オフを行なわせ、その制御用トランジスタのオン時に
点火コイルの一次側に直列接続された主トランジスタを
オフして点火コイルの一次電流をしゃ断し、それにより
点火コイルの二次側に設けられた点火プラグに火花放電
を生じさせるガソリンエンジンの点火装置において、液
量検出センサによってエンジンオイル、ラジェータ冷却
水などの液量不足が検知されたときに、その検出接点を
介して前記制御用トランジスタのベース電位を零に保持
させる手段を設けたことを特徴とするガソリンエンジン
