PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for re-edition in a computer by adding a picture rotation processing circuit rotating each image data cut out by a cutout circuit by 90 deg. in the unit of cutout and storing the result to an auxiliary storage device. CONSTITUTION:A cutout origin address is obtained from format information 6 to a picture on a picture memory 5 and a picture is cut out by a cutout circuit 7.
