Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an electrophoretic layer which is suitable for an electrophoretic analysis of a biological polymer and does not peel off by providing an electrophoretic layer, contg. an aq. gel which is obtained by cross-linking and polymerizing an acrylamidic compd. with a cross-linking agent in the presence of water, on a support layer through an adhesive layer of a specific acrylic polymer. CONSTITUTION:On a support such as polyethylene terephthalate, an adhesive layer contg. one of polymers shown in the formulas I , II, and III is formed (R<11>, R<21>, and R<31> are respectively alkyls of H, C1-6, Q<1> is allylene, etc. of -COO-, C6-10, L<1> is a bivalent group of -COO-, C3-15 and -O-, etc., R<12> and R<22> are -CH=CH2, etc., L<2> is an alkylene of C1-6, allylene of C6-12, etc., L<3> is a bivalent group of C1-20, X<3> is an active ester group, A<1>, A<2>, and A<3> are polymerized groups of ethylenic unsaturated monomer, x<1>-x<3> is 0-99, y<1>-y<3> 1-99, z<1>-z<3> 1-99mol%). On the adhesive layer, an electrophoretic layer of an acrylamidic cross-linked aq. gel contg. an anionic surfactant as a denaturing agent is formed. In this way, the medium material especially excellent in a separative analysis of protein, etc. is obtained.
