Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the reliability by using a switch function in common for a photodetecting system itself to avoid the light other than objects from being received.
CONSTITUTION: In touching simply a cylinder part 24 to a CRT screen, the light is delivered to a photoconductive pin 26 but does not arrive at the photodetector 32. On the other hand, when the CRT screen 44 is placed on an alternate long and short dash line, that is, when the cylinder part 24 is pushed onto the tube screen 44, since one end 26a of the photoconductive pin 26 is retracted via a spring 28, the other end 26b arrives onto the photodetector 32 and the light is sensed by the photodetector 32. In relaxing the pushing force of the cylinder part 24 onto the tube screen 44, the photoconductive pin 26 is slid by the spring 28 so as to allow one end 26a to be projected, the other end 26b is separated from the photodetector 32 and the light conduction to the photoconductor 32 is cut off.
