Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve working property and to reduce the fatigue of a worker by setting up a pressure sensitive transparent electrode on the display screen of a graphic display device. CONSTITUTION:A picture is set up on a figure input operation part 5 consisting of a cathode-ray tube display part and the pressure sensitive transparent electrode put on the upper surface of the display part and fixed by a picture fixing device 8. If an indication pen 6 is pressed to the picture under said status, the coordinate data corresponding to the pen point are inputted to a display device. Consequently, a carsor mark is displayed on the coordinate position. The mark can be recognized through the figure. If another point is pressed by the indication pen 6 afterthere, a straight line is displayed. A character input part 7 to which characters or marks are arranged is formed on the electrode, and characters or the like can be displayed by pressing the characters or the like on the character input part 7 by the indication pen 6. In order to form the hardcopy of the inputted figure a hard copy device 9 is provided.

A conventional device of this type is shown in FIG. That is, the upper surface of a tablet (1) having a large number of electrodes arranged in a matrix is touched with an indicating pen (2).
The coordinate data on the two-dimensional child surface corresponding to this pressed point is given to the graphic display device (3) as, for example, the coordinates of the starting end of the straight line, and the coordinate data of the end of the straight line is similarly given. There is also one in which straight lines are displayed on the graphic display device (3), and character data etc. can also be displayed by operating the keyboard (4).

However, in this configuration, the operation surface for inputting shapes and the display surface for displaying the input shapes are on different planes, so when inputting shapes, the viewpoint must be alternately changed to these different planes. Must be. For this reason,
This has the disadvantage that worker fatigue increases and work efficiency decreases.

On the other hand, there are devices that use an optical light pen to input coordinates directly on the display screen of a graphic display device, but even in this case, the viewpoint must be alternately shifted to both the drawing placed on the desk and the display screen. However, there are disadvantages in that worker fatigue increases and work efficiency decreases.

For this purpose, the present invention places a transparent touch sensor (pressure-sensitive transparent electrode) on the display screen of a display device, and places a drawing in which a figure to be input is drawn on the -1- of this touch sensor. The coordinates are indicated by pressing the indicator pen.

) is a graphic input operation section, and this operation section (5) is composed of, for example, a 20-inch cathode ray tube display section of the display device and a pressure-sensitive transparent electrode placed on the top surface of this display section. When the pressure-transparent electrode is pressed with an indicator pen (6), coordinate data corresponding to the suppression point is generated in a circuit section (not shown) and then input to the display device.

In addition, a drawing fixing device (8) is provided on the outer edge of the figure input operation section (5), so that when a drawing to which a figure is to be input is placed on the figure input operation section (5), the positional relationship between the two is fixed. It's K so that it doesn't shift.

In such a configuration, when inputting a figure drawn on a drawing, one side of the figure is first placed on the figure input operation section (5) and fixed by the drawing fixing device (8). In this state, when the pointing pen (6) is brought into contact with the starting end position of the straight line drawn in the drawing and pressed, coordinate data corresponding to this pressed point is generated and input to the display device.

Accordingly, a cursor symbol is displayed at the coordinate position corresponding to the pressing point of the pointing pen (6). This cursor symbol is visible throughout the drawing. Thereafter, when the pointing pen (6) is brought into contact with and pressed against the midpoint or end position of the line, coordinate data corresponding to this pressed point is generated and input to the display device. As a result, straight lines are displayed on both display surfaces.

Therefore, in this embodiment, a figure can be input by simply tracing the figure drawn on the drawing with the pointing pen (6). In this case, if highly transparent paper is used as the drawing, it is possible to very easily check whether the drawing matches the input figure.
