Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve an igniting ability and to prevent tar from being adhered to the inner surface of a flue duct, by a method wherein a cylinder body of an electric resistance heat-generating material is located on the way to a burner part which is formed at the forward end of the flue duct facing the nozzle of an incinerator. CONSTITUTION:On the way of a burner part 6 which is formed at the forward end of a flue duct 5 interconnecting the exhaust port of a dry distillation furnace 1 and a nozzle 8A of an incinerator 8, a cylinder body 12, made of an electric resistance heat-generating material and having a terminal connecting a circuit for receiving electricity from a power source 20, is disposed. A gas flow rate detector 14, a gas component detector 15, etc. are located in the flue duct 5 and a controller 17, which inputs their respective detecting values, and in response to the input signals thereof, regulates and operates an airflow variable blower 3 attendant to the dry distillation furnace 1 or a rooster 2 stretched within the dry distillation furnace 1, is located externally of the flue duct. The detectors 14 and 15 are connected to the controller 17 through a circuit, and further, the controller 17 is coupled through a circuit to a controller 18 for the airflow variable blower 3 and a controller 16 for rooster rocking.
