Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the consumption of a stand-by electric current at a stand- by time, by supplying always power to a circuit including a command register and supplying power to the other circuit when a command is written in the command register. CONSTITUTION:The system of power supply is divided into two, namely, a circuit 20 including at least a command register 16 and the other circuit 21. An IF register circuit 11 and a control circuit 12 are included in the circuit 20, and power is supplied directly to the circuit 20 from a power supply circuit 5. A driving circuit 3 and a bubble memory device 4 are included in the other circuit 21, and power is supplied to the circuit 21 from the power supply circuit 5 through a switch 17. The switch 17 is so controlled by the control circuit 12 that the switch 17 is closed when a command is written in the command register 16 and is opened in the command waiting state. Thus, the consumption of the stand-by current at the stand-by time is reduced, and even a small-current capacity power source is used for a long time.
