室内を通る軸まわりで回転自在に燃焼室内に配されたロ
ータと、ロータ外周面から半径方向に出没自在にロータ
の回転方向に前後してロータ内部に配された少なくとも
2対のベーンと、ベーンの出没をロータの回転に伴なっ
て制御す・ る走路カムと、燃焼室の挟小部対向面の
一方に配された点火プラグと、この点火プラグに対向す
る燃焼室の部位の壁面にロータの回転方向に関して前後
して設けられた吸入口および排出口とを備え、対をなす
ベーンは、それぞれの対がロータの回転軸に関して同じ
角度間隔をもつように配置され、ロータは、ベーンの各
対の間の部分が点火プラグに対向する回転位置にある時
にミその対を構成する2枚のベーンの間のロータ周面が
点火プラグ近傍の燃焼室内面に対し離隔するように配置
され、前記走路カムの形状は、ベーンの半径方向外端縁
が燃焼室内周面に気密に接するようにベーンの出没を制
御する形状とされていることを特徴とするロータリエン
