Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the elimination of an interference by a method wherein a boss and a rotary shaft are coupled by a flange and the coupling is located at the outside of a casing to cool it. CONSTITUTION:A boss 6 and a rotary shaft 4 are not coupled by fitting but are coupled by a flange. Further, the flange coupling is located at the outside of a casing 1 to cool it. The flange coupling is not located in the casing 1, therefore, there is no difference of thermal expansion between the boss 6 and the rotary shaft 4 and no difference is generated in the thermal expansion of respective flanges 8, 9. According to this method, bolts for coupling the flanges will never meet the danger of being cut.
