Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid unnecessary power consumption to reduce the overall power consumption of a titled IC device by providing a control circuit for load driving capacity of an inverse amplifying circuit. CONSTITUTION:An inverse amplifying circuit 16 is provided with an N-MOSFET1, P-MOSFETs 2 and 3, and a resistance 4. At the same time, a feedback circuit 17 contains capacitors 6 and 7, a resistance 8 and a crystal oscillator 5. Capacitors 9 and 14, resistances 10 and 15, an N-MOSFET11 and P-MOSFETs 12 and 13 constitute a control circuit 18 which controls the load driving capacity of the circuit 18. Thus the load driving capacity of the circuit 18 can always have the continuous value by the circuit 16. Therefore no extra power consumption is required to maintain the stable oscillation. As a result, the overall power consumption can be reduced for an IC device having an oscillating circuit.
