Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a detector on a body to be detected without machining such as welding, by directly and closely contacting the loose parts detector to a member, which is closely contacted with the body to be detected through a metal fitting and the like. CONSTITUTION:A detector attaching metal fitting 22 is divided into two parts 22a and 22b, and they are attached to a suspending metal fixture 17 of an upper end plate 1 of a pressure container by bolts 24 in approximately a ?- shape. A loose parts detector 7a is attached to the metal fixture 22 and connected to a monitoring device through a cable 23. Therefore, noises such as vibration, which are yielded in an atomic reactor, are transmitted to the detector 7a through the suspending metal fixture 17 and the attaching metal fitting 22 with almost no attenuation. Thus, the detector can be provided without applying machining such as drilling and welding on the atomic reactor and without impairing the safety of a body to be checked.
