Claims

A flat tube is bent and meandered so that the flat part faces up and down, a corrugated fin is interposed between the flat parts of the flat tube, and an inlet header is connected to one end of the flat tube and an outlet header is connected to the other end. In a refrigerant evaporator comprising:
Concave grooves formed on the surface of the above-mentioned flat tubes provide vertical drainage grooves at the air downstream side ends of the side surfaces of each flat part, and the inclination angle of the air upstream side bottom of these drainage grooves allows condensed water to flow into the drainage grooves. A refrigerant evaporator characterized by having a small angle to allow air to easily enter the drain, and a large inclination angle to prevent condensed water from coming out from the drain.
