Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at reduction in the number of items of the parts required as well as simplification in the construction of a lubricating device, by constituting the device so as to cause a lubricating oil feed circuit for a train of speed change gears to be formed by assembling a geared transmission system. CONSTITUTION:In this device, an oil feed channel 36 being interconnected to an oil pump P is set up on a bevel gear case 21 while this oil feed channel 36 is open to the inside of the bevel gear case 21 and a finger-stall-like oil feed pipe 37 is inserted into the opening end of said oil feed channel. The tip part of the oil feed pipe 27 enters inside an oil supply channel 31 set up on a countershaft 3 via an oil filler hole 35 of a cap body 34 and an oil supply port 38 is set up on the tip part of said oil supply channel. Also on the way to the oil feed pipe 37, an oil supply port 39 is provided, which is opened to the bevel gear case 21 within. Like this, only when the bevel gear case 21 is attached to a transmission case M, the oil feed channel 36 is interconnected to the oil supply channel 31 and a lubricating oil feeding system for a speed change gear mechanism G is thus formed.

As is clear from the above embodiments, according to the present invention, the countershaft of the speed change gear mechanism has an oil supply passage along its axial direction, and a plurality of lateral oil passages that communicate this oil supply passage with the outside. On the other hand, the bevel gear case that is attached to the transmission case has an oil supply path that communicates with the oil pump. Since a lubrication pipe that can be communicated with the oil supply passage is connected to the transmission case, a lubrication circuit for lubricating the transmission gear mechanism can be formed by simply attaching the bevel gear case to the transmission case. Sufficient lubricating oil can be supplied to sliding parts, meshing parts, etc. to ensure smooth and light operation of the mechanism.
