Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は防爆性を向上させた密閉形鉛電池に関するもの
であり、極群上部の空間を中空体によって埋めたことを
特徴とするものである。
以下、本発明をその一実施例を示す11g1図により詳
細に説明する。すなわち該図面において、1は電槽、2
は電槽1に収納された極群、5は電槽中蓋、4は弁、5
は電槽上蓋である。電槽1と電槽中蓋6により仕切られ
た極群2上部の空間は中空体6で埋められている。
該中空体6はマイクロバルーンとしても知られており、
ガラス、セラミック、プラスティックからなり、例えば
ECC08PHIRE8(商品名S EMER8ON&
 CUMING 社製)などが有名である。また本発明
に用いる中空体6としては直径50〜1000声のもの
が適当である。
また鎖中つ体6は電解液の注液前ある0は注液後におい
て極群2の上部の空間に充填される。
叙上、本発明はその工業的価値の高いものである。
