Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a lens small-sized, by providing a connector in the mount part of an interchangeable lens for auto-focus of a single-lens reflex camera and using a power source in a camera body. CONSTITUTION:Contacts 13A and 13B are provided in the mount part of an AF lens which has a focusing motor 9 in a lens barrel and are connected to a power source battery in a camera to constitute a closed loop independent of detecting circuits 23, 24, and 25 and display circuits 28 and 29, thus making the lens small- sized. A focus detection signal is sent to a motor driving circuit 11 through connectors 26 and 27 to control the motor.
