Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to surely feed out sheets of paper with various sizes by a structure wherein sheet feed rollers located conformably to the minimum paper size and a pair of paddles, which are located near separating pawls and serve to control and push out the curved part of a sheet of paper, is provided. CONSTITUTION:A pair of the sheet feed rollers 3 located conformably to the paper with the minimum size 2 is mounted onto a roll shaft 1 and the separating pawls 4 and 4 are located to the shaft 1. At least one pair of paddles 5 consisting of a plurality of radially formed vane portions 7 is installed on the roll shaft 1 at both sides of the sheet feed rollers 3 and serves to control the curved part 8 of the paper with larger size 2' as well as to push out the curved part 8 by means of the elastic deformation of their vane portions 7. The controlling and pushing-out functions of the paddles 5 are effective to a sheet of thicker paper.
