CONSTITUTION:A cold air preventing thermostat 9 has a sensing part 10 which senses the temperature of a heat exchanger and includes a single terminal and single-throw switch which assumes a break state when the temperature of the heat exchanger is low. For example, during the cooling mode operation, the thermostat 9 becomes OFF. If the room temperature is higher than the set value of a room temperature thermostat 3, a blower 11 is operated in the strong wind mode, whereas if the room temperature is lower than the set room temperature, the blower is operated in the weak wind mode. During the heating mode operation, if the room temperature is lower than the set temperature, the blower is operated in the strong wind mode and conversely, if the room temperature is higher than the set temperature, the blower is operated in the weak wind mode.
