Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to fix a motor firmly and easily in a casing, by forming a coupling part to be fitted to the motor on the inner surface of an inner cylinder of the casing, and also forming a coupling part to be fitted with the former coupling part on the outer surface of the motor body. CONSTITUTION:A coupling part 106 is formed on the inner surface of an inner cylinder 105 of a casing 1 while a coupling part 203 to be fitted with said coupling part 106 is formed on the outer surface of the body 202 of a motor 2 which serves as the heel piece of the motor. By thus fitting the coupling part 106 of the inner cylinder 105 and the coupling part 203 of the motor 2 with each other, positioning of the motor 2 and the casing 1 can be effected with ease. Further, adjustment for the axial clearances between vane wheels 4, 5 and the opposite end faces of an intermediate cylinder 103 and for the radial clearances between the vane wheels 4, 5 and an outer cylinder 101 can be made unnecessary, and the motor 2 can be fixed firmly in the casing 1. Therefore, it is enabled to enhance the reliability of operation of a fan.
