Abstract

PURPOSE:In preparing an emulsion agricultural chemical containing an organophosphorus-based insecticidal component as an active ingredient, to improve the storage stability of the emulsion by adding a specific amount of a specified alcohol to it. CONSTITUTION:An emulsion of agricultural chemical such as malathion, etc. containing an organophosphorus-based insecticidal component as an active ingredient is blended with 0.3-5wt%, preferably 1-2wt% based on the emulsion of alcohol such as methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, ethylene glycol isopropyl alcohol, etc. having >=20wt% solubility in water at 20 deg.C, to give a stable emulsion of agricultural chemical. Since the alcohol not only has a preventing action on the precipitate in the emulsion, but also can provide a stable effect on the long-term storage of the emulsion and a uniform emulsion when the emulsion is diluted with water, stable controlling effects can be expected without causing unevenness of application and phytotoxicity.

の乳化安定性を改良する方法として、20℃における溶
解度が水100gに対し、0.2〜15gである脂肪族
アルコール(イソミルアルコールなど)または芳香族ア
ルコール(ベンジルアルコールなど)を0.5〜4%添
加する方法が提案されている(特公昭46−6438号
公報)。しか1ながら、この方法は、乳剤を水で希釈し
た場合の乳化安定性は優れているが乳剤そのものを長期
間に渡って貯蔵した場合、活性成分が乳剤中に析出する
など安定性が悪く使用することができなかった。

澱を防lニし、長期に渡って安定な農薬乳剤が得られる
ことを見出した。

を賦与し、またこのような乳剤は、水で希釈して実際に
散布する場合にも、均一なエマルジョンとすることがで
きるので、散布むらや薬害もなく安定した防除効果が期
待できる。
