Abstract

PURPOSE:To adjust a processing solution by analyzing the amount of an organic material in the processing solution by means of a refraction type densitometer for sugar and a gravimeter while keeping the amount of the processing solution constant after providing liquid level detectors in a plurality of processing solution tanks. CONSTITUTION:Liquid level measuring gages 36, 38 are respectively provided in processing solution tanks 24, 30, and measuring gage 36 is marked with temperature indicating graduation 40 and the measuring gage 38 is marked with a reference level indicating graduation 42 of the same level as the base of an overflow inlet 34. The amount of a processing solution in the fully filled state is set as a reference amount of one said solution where the solution level coincides with a graduation 42 position, and water is supplied into the tanks 24, 30 to supplement any shortage of processing solution so as to maintain the amount of the reference processing solution. The amounts of two kinds of organic materials in the processing solution are analyzed using a gravimeter and a refraction type densitometer for sugar, and the intersection of both measured values provides the analytical point of a solution component. If the intersection of those measured values of the specific gravity and the density of the processing solution ranges within A correction area, water is excessive, if within B correction area an S component is excessive, and if within C correction area, P component is excessive respectively, allowing any short component to be corrected.
