Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain high machining accuracy, by constituting a surface plate part in a movable table for mounting and fixed positioning of a work with a ceramic material to light weight further with large strength and preventing deterioration of the surface plate part even if it is exposed in machining fluid for a long period. CONSTITUTION:A surface plate part 32 mounting and fixing a work 30 is mounted to a movable table 10 provided to the inside of a machining tank 12. The surface plate part 32 is molded under pressure by using a forming mold and formed to a cast shape at high temperature by blending an industrially produced material of metal oxide, carbide, nitride, boride, silicide, etc. Consequently, said surface plate part 32 is of construction such that cavities 34 and ribs or the like are integrally formed, in this way, substantial reinforecement is obtained as compared with weight. Further a thickness of the surface plate part 32 itself, being formed by pressure molding, can be also easily decreased, and forming into substantially light weight can be accomplished without causing the worsening of strength.

In this way, while supplying the machining g14 at Calo pressure between the workpiece 30 placed and fixed on the movable table 10 and the tool (not shown), which is an electrode, an intermittent nozzle-like machining current is applied. The workpiece 30 is processed by applying electric current. By the way, in the movable table 10 used in this type of conventional electric processing apparatus, the workpiece 3
A stone surface plate 16 made of natural stone such as gabbro was used as the surface plate portion on which the 0 was placed and fixed. The use of the stone surface plate 16 in the surface plate section reduces the stray capacitor capacity of the discharge circuit consisting of the machining power source, tools, workpieces, etc., and provides a smooth rise characteristic. This is also to maintain the machining current.

However, since the stone surface plate 16 constructed using conventional natural stone, such as gabbro, is made of natural stone, it is difficult to obtain a homogeneous stone, and there are many microcracks on the surface, which makes it difficult to absorb water. This has the disadvantage that the seals become brittle and deteriorate when exposed to machining fluids for a long period of time. Furthermore, since it is difficult to manufacture a thin product, the product inevitably becomes thick and heavy.

Unlike the commonly used stone surface plate, the 6-station 'mxs used in electrical processing equipment is often moved while being used, so its large weight means that the table 10 (Df guide) is not required to carry the load. If the size is increased, the movement accuracy of the table 1G is reduced, which results in a significant reduction in processing accuracy.

Furthermore, the stone surface plate 16 made of natural stone is generally weak against concentrated loads during impact loads, and has many problems in that it is easily broken.

This invention was made in view of the above-mentioned conventional vIA problem, and its purpose is to have durability that does not deteriorate even when exposed to machining fluid for a long period of time, and to be easy to use so that table movement accuracy can be improved. It is an object of the present invention to provide an electrical machining device that can significantly increase the mechanical strength, ensure sufficient mechanical strength, improve machining accuracy, and withstand long-term use.

FIG. 2 shows an embodiment of the main part of the electroprocessing apparatus according to the present invention. The electrical processing apparatus shown in the figure is a part on which a workpiece 30 is placed and fixed, and its basic configuration is the same as that of the conventional apparatus described above. That is, the workpiece 30 is placed on the nine movable table 10 provided in the processing tank 12.
A surface plate part 32 is attached on which the parts are placed and fixed. The movable table 10 is provided in a machining tank 12 in which a machining fluid 14 flows. Here, the above-mentioned surface plate portion 32 corresponds to the stone surface plate 16 described above, but its material is not a conventional natural stone but a ceramic made by firing alumina-based crystalline material. More specifically, this surface plate part 32 is made by mixing industrially produced raw materials such as metal oxides, carbides, nitrides, borides, and silicides, and press-molding the mixture using a mold. It has a cast shape that is fired at a high temperature. For this reason, the cavity 34 and the like are integrally formed in a structure.
is significantly stronger for its weight. Moreover, since the surface plate part 32 itself is formed by pressure molding, it can be easily made thinner, and from this point of view as well, a significant weight reduction can be achieved without significantly compromising strength.

Now, the surface plate part 32 made of such a ceramic material is easier to obtain homogeneous than the conventional stone surface plate made of gabbro, etc., and has greater strength and is less likely to break. The weight of the workpiece 30 that can be placed can also be made significantly larger than before. At the same time, the weight of the entire movable table 1G can be significantly reduced, and the table 1
It is possible to significantly reduce the load on the guide section of the table 0 and improve the precision of movement and positioning of the table, thereby increasing the precision of processing. In addition, since a more homogeneous surface plate can be obtained compared to a conventional stone surface plate, water absorption and oil absorption due to the microcrank are less likely to occur, and there is no risk of deterioration even if exposed to machining fluid for a long period of time.
