Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a small-sized electronic static picture recorder/reproducer which produces a static picture with high quality, by recording previously the synchronizing signal on a recording medium and recording and reproducing the video output obtained from a photoelectric conversion output in the form of an analog signal as it is by making use of the above-mentioned synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:A clock signal extracting circuit 20 reads out the synchronizing signal recorded previously on a magnetic drum 17 and extracts the clock signal synchronizing with the revolution of a magnetic head 19 or the scanning speed. Then the phase is compared 28 between the clock signal extracted out of the synchronizing signal recorded on the drum 17 and the reference clock signal supplied from a reference clock signal producing circuit 26. Then a servo motor is driven, and a control loop is formed. Furthermore a prescribed timing signal is produced from a timing generating circuit 29 based on the reference signal supplied from the circuit 26. The timing signal is then converted into a prescribed video signal through a signal converting circuit 30.
