Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain various information before response, by providing a control signal for a selection signal received/transmitted between a telephone set and an exchange at calling, and changing the sound volume or tone of the incoming telephone set. CONSTITUTION:Through the dial operation of a digital telephone set 1, a selection signal and a control signal representing name of a caller and emergency are transmitted to an exchange 4 at incoming side via an exchange 3 at calling side. The exchange 4 interpretes the received dial signal, selects the line of a telephone set 1' of incoming side, and transmits a call signal and the control signal via a multiplex separation circuit 2'. The telephone set 1' compares data set by a called party in advance with the transmitted control signal, the sound volume and tone are changed when they are coincident to go a sounder. Thus, the called party discriminates whether the call is an incoming call from a specific subscriber before response or not, and whether the call is the incoming call having high urgency.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a calling system for a digital telephone that uses digital signals as signals exchanged between a telephone and an exchange. In the conventional signaling system for a digital telephone, when making a call, The control signal for incoming and outgoing calls sent from telephone number i to the exchange is terminating 4MII.
It only sends out a selection signal, which is the subscriber number of II, and if a control signal other than the selection signal is sent out, the exchange is configured so that it does not accept the call. Even if a double/spare left signal path is configured between the exchange and the called telephone, only the subscriber data such as the calling party's number (calling number) and terminal type that are registered in the calling switch in advance is available. It was not possible to transmit signals to the telephone on the nursing side, and it was not possible to transmit signals that varied variously each time a call was made, such as the name of the calling party, the name of the called party, and the degree of emergency.

Therefore, when receiving a call, the subscriber: (1) Even if the calling party number is sent, if the caller made the call from a public telephone or other line, the subscriber must go off-hook to confirm the identity of the other party. The caller cannot be known.

In FIG. 2, when the hook switch 10 is turned on at the time of making a call, the transmission termination section 11 extracts the power necessary for the operation of the telephone using the line current from the one subscriber line 9, and
This circuit automatically equalizes the characteristics of the subscriber line 9 and establishes synchronization between the exchanges 3 and 4 and the telephones 1 and 1'. It is a circuit that performs speed conversion between the signal transmission speed on the subscriber line 9 and the effective speed of voice signals and control signals. As shown, the admission examination number is entered on the pushbutton dial 19, and then, using the keyboard 18, the calling party's name, the called party's name, and the degree of urgency are entered in a predetermined number of digits using the keyboard 18. Next to this, call button 2
When 0 is pressed, a signal corresponding to the subscriber number 2, calling party name, called party, and degree of urgency is created in the signal generation N path 13, sent to the line termination section 12, and then sent to the transmission line termination section. 11 to the exchange 3.
