  1. ドアの開扉時にのみオンとなるドアスイッチと、このド
    アスイッチのオン時にドアの外側を照らすステップラン
    プとを備えた自動車において、周囲の明るさによって昼
    夜の識別を行う回路と、ドアスイッチがオフしてから一
    定時間作動する遅延回路とを備え、夜間にのみステップ
    ランプを点灯させるとともにドアスイッチがオフに切り
    換わってから一定時間ステップランプを点灯保持するよ
    うにしたことを特徴とする自動車のステップランプ装置
    。
