Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid crystal display panel having excellent display appearance with good workability, by interposing spacers on the outer side of sealing resins which adhere two sheets of light transmittable substrates and removing the spacers after adhering the light transmittable substrates. CONSTITUTION:Tapelike or fibrous spacers 15 having a uniform thickness are interposed on both sides on the outer side of sealing resins 13 in the stage of adhering two sheets of light transmittable substrates 11, 12 by which many liquid crystal display panels are obtained simultaneously by means of the sealing resins 13 located at every other equal interval. Both substrates 11, 12 are divided to small pieces of required sizes after adhered to each other. The spacers 15 located between the resins 13 and the resins 13 are parted at the center in the transverse direction and are removed in this stage, whereby the intended liquid crystal display panels having improved display appearance on account of absence of the spacers 15 are obtained.
