Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise the pumping capacity of a pump by a method in which a water-pumping pipe whose lower end is fitted with a water-pump is hung down into a riser pipe, and a vacuum pump is provided at the upper end of the water- pumping pipe. CONSTITUTION:A well point 2 is formed at the lower end of a riser pipe 1, and the riser pipe 1 is penetrated into the foundation by introducing pressure water into the pipe 1. In pumping the ground-water, a suction force is applied by a vacuum pump 18, a water-pumping pipe 6 whose lower end is fitted with a water pump 7 is hung down in the riser pipe 1, and the ground water introduced into the riser pipe 1 is pumped up to a water storage tank 17 through the water- pumping pipe 6 by means of the suction force of the vacuum pump 18 and the water pumping force of the water pump 7.
