Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to compact the driving gear including a propeller shaft into a small size in such a way that when a speed change gear is in the first speed of its shifting position, the axial torque in the internal-combustion engine within the determined revloving range can be limited. CONSTITUTION:In a computer 3, detected values from a chift switch 6, a revolution number sensor 2, an air rate sensor 1, etc. are applied as input, the shifting postion is discriminated to be in the first speed, and when the number of revolutions of the engine is discriminated to be within the range between the determined limits from N1 to N2, signals to limit output as shown by a dotted line E are applied as output to an igniter 4 and an injector 5. In consequence, though the rising torque, the maximum torque are made largest in the first speed, in consideration of the acceleration performance after starting, since the number of revolutions can make the characteristics of the axial torque flat at more than the determined value N1, the driving gear can be compacted into a small size. In addition, supercharging pressure control can be applied in lieu of the injector 5 and the igniter 4.
