PURPOSE:To reduce heat dissipating loss and improve power transmission efficiency by a method wherein a device capable of presetting the amount of hot-water to be used is provided so as not to heat the amount of hot-water, which is more than required amount, and a power supplying load is distributed evenly by a central control unit. CONSTITUTION:Respective hot-water reserving type electric water heaters 5, 5' are provided with regular hot-water quantity setting means 6, 6', temporary hot-water quantity setting means 7, 7' and timer units 8, 8' for setting the conduction time of electric power supplied to heating bodies 2, 2', while the central control unit 9 is provided with a feed water temperature detecting means 10, an operating means 11 and a timer control unit 12. The calory of heat to be reserved in respective electric water heaters is operated in the unit 9 by the means 11 from the detected value of the means 10 and the set values preset in said respective hot-water quantity setting means, and the necessary conducting times of the electric powers supplied to respective electric hot-water heaters are operated from said operated calory of heat, further, the units 8, 8' are controlled concentrically by the timer control unit 12 so that the necessary conducting times of the electric powers supplied to respective electric hot-water heaters are distributed porperly.
