Conventional color display devices using liquid crystals generally have a so-called negative display where voltage is applied to the segment parts to make them appear white. 'TfL is 1, but the positive display has a brighter display and less freedom in design. However, with a single-layer cell, it is difficult to obtain a positive display with high contrast, and with a two-layer cell, a southern contrast can be obtained, but the disadvantage is that it becomes opaque.
