Abstract
PURPOSE:To protect an actuator from being heated to high temperature by a method wherein in the titled device provided in a passage bypassing the turbine of a turbo-supercharger, an actuator is provided at a position spaced from the body of the valve through a seat and the valve is opened and closed through a link. CONSTITUTION:The body 3 of a valve is provided with a waste gas inlet port 1 connected to the waste gas discharge side and a waste gas outlet port 2 connected to the atmospheric side of an engine and the valve 7 adopted to open and close a bleeding port 6 of an exhaust manifold 5 by turning about a fulcrum 4 is provided. The valve 7 is fixed, through an arm 9, to a rotary shaft 8 rotatable about the fulcrum 4 and one end of a link 11 is fixed to the outer end of the rotary shaft 8 passing through the body 3. At the same time, the actuator 16 is fixed on the seat 12 fixed to the outer side of the body 3 through a support leg 12 and the other end of the link 11 is connected to the lower end of the operation rod 19 by means of a pin 20.
