Abstract
PURPOSE:To conduct optimum packing rapidly and automatically by memorizing a single weight difference sequentially and by minimizing a margin of the gross weight with a prescribed quantity of assortment by the result of operations based on the number of pieces required for obtaining the desired number and on the number of times of operations for combinations of the number of pieces. CONSTITUTION:Measured weights are selected by a selector 19 and fed to a discharging device 4 and the second meters 5 and 6, while errors in minus or in plus in relation to the reference weight are memorized sequentially in minus- or plus-shift registers 22 and 23 provided with four sets of memorizing stages respectively. The number of times required for a combination code of each stage of these registers 22 and 23 to conduct respective combination of 5-3 pieces in accordance with the number set in a packed-piece number setting part 25 is determined by a setting circuit 26 for times of operation of the combination code to be operated, whereby operation circuits 27-29 for combination codes for five, four and three pieces are controlled. The operation of error weight based on the combination on each stage of the registers 22 and 23 is conducted in an operation circuit 24 and, through comparison of the result of the operation with the reference weight, the ombinations of codes minimizing the margin whereby the error weight becomes minimum are determined in a code memorizing register 61, and thereby the optimum packing is performed rapidly and automatically.
