Abstract
PURPOSE: To control rough working by a calculating process in which working shapes and methods of moving tools are respectively patterned so that finishing working data corresponding to the pattern is applied to the input of a control unit.
CONSTITUTION: A continuous profile shape drawn on a design drawing is divided into simple shapes (of straight line, taper, convex and concave circles) sequentially from an end so that finishing working data of the respective divisions are applied to the input of a control unit as one process. Also, a working shapes are divided into open and concave-on-the-way types, and moving patterns are of tool are divided into three types, whether they are in rough return point Ji, rough strating point Gi, rough finishing point Hi or on the way.
