Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the load of an operator, by providing a means that prevents a electrical breakdown of a pack in case the pack is inserted into the main body of a device. CONSTITUTION:A logic substrate 2 is packaged into a pack 1, and an ROM for trigonometric function plus its peripheral electric circuit, for example, are packaged on the substrate 2. A connector 4 is provided in an electric computer to secure electronic connection to the substrate 2 in the pack 1 in case the pack 1 is put into an electronic desk computer. At the same time, a microswitch 3 is provided into the electronic computer to detect ON/OFF of a switch at the position shown by the dotted lines in the diagram and just in front of the inserting port of a connector 4. In such constitution, the pack 1 is completely separated from a signal transmission/reception circuit provided in the desk computer to give no disturbance to the inside of the computer. Furthermore, the power supply to the pack 1 is completely cut off during the insertion of the pack 1 to avoid the breakdown of electric circuits provided in the pack 1.
