Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily raise the efficiency of a solar battery, by condensing sun light on a plastic plate containing a fluorescent agent. CONSTITUTION:A fluorescent agent emits light whose intensity distribution is isotropic, by sun light which is made incident to a plastic plate 31 containing a fluorescent agent. The emitted light which have reached the surface of the plate 31 at an angle exceeding a prescribed angle are totally reflected, is not projected to the outside of the plate 31, and reach the end of the plate 31 by repetition of these total reflections, and are condensed to solar batteries 32-35. According to this simple constitution, the efficiency of a solar battery for an electronic wrist watch is improved, and its manufacturing cost is reduced.
