Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a press machine which permits high speed operation and provides powerful compressive force by changing the eccentric motion of one eccentric shaft by the revolution of a driving shaft to the vertical motion of the other eccentric shaft and vertically moving a ram by this.
CONSTITUTION: A driving shaft 11 is revolved by a driving source and the 1st eccentric shaft 12 fixed to this is also revolved; further the 2nd eccentric shaft 13 is eccentrically moved by the eccentric motion of the shaft 12. However, an eccentric shaft guide 14 is so designed as to move only in the vertical direction without moving in a horizontal direction and therefore that shaft 13 cannot move in the horizontal direction either. Hence, the guide 14 is moved vertically along a frame 18, and in accordance with this, a ram 15 is moved vertically along a ram guide 16 by means of a connection screw 17. According to this press machine, extremely powerful compressive force is realized and the high speed operation is made possible.
