PURPOSE:To speed up data transfer without increasing the number of hardwares by outputting a data transfer synchronizing signal without turning on a transfer mode signal to send address information, when attaining access to the next address of a storage device accessed last. CONSTITUTION:For access to the next address of a storage device 2 accessed last, a CPU1 turns on and sends a data transfer synchronizing signal 53 immediately without turning on a transfer mode signal 52. The storage device 2 receives as an effective adress an address outputted from a next-address generator 23 applied to a storage circuit 20 under forehanded control to store access data in a data buffer 25 in advance, and also applys a transfer response signal 54 to the CPU. While fetching data on a data bus 3, the CPU turns off the signal 53. On knowing the data is read by the CPU, the storage device 2 turns off the signal 54 and also stops the outputting data from the buffer 25 to send a next address to the storage circuit 20, thereby forehanded control for next high-speed data transfer control is executed.
