PURPOSE:To obtain amorphous alloy having superior properties of strength, toughness, saturated magnetic flux density, corrosion resistance and thermal stability, by means of adding specially determined amount of ferro magnetic metal, metals increasing corrosion resistance, saturated magnetic flux density and hardness, and another metals elevating crystallization temp. into metallic elements such as Zr, Ti and Hf. CONSTITUTION:This is an amorphous alloy shown by MaTbNoXdCrePf, in which M is at least one of ferromagnetic metals such as Fe, Co and Ni, T is Mo, W, V, Nb, Ta and at least one of other metals elevating hardness and crystallization temp., N is at least one Zr, Ti, Hf and Y, X is nonmetallic elements such as B, C, Si and S, and also, a+b+c+d+e+f=100, 0<=b<=20, 0<=C<=20, 0<=d<=15, 1<=e<=20, 1<= f<=10 and further the alloy contains Cr and P. This amorphous alloy has high crystallization temp. and saturated magnetic flex density over 7Kg and still more, superior corrosion resistance, strength, toughness and thermal stability. It is a excellent material as a magnetic filter.
