Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare efficiently a vinyl chloride composite by a method wherein a heated melt of thermoplastic polyester adhesive having a specific physical property is coated on a vinyl chloride sheet at a given thickness and another substrate is welded into this.
CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic polyester (preferably, polyesters obtained by reacting both acid components composed of terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid, aliphatic dibasic acid and tetramethylene glycol) having reduction viscosities of 0.3W0.9dl/g and melt indexes (190°C) of 30W500g/10min is used as an adhesive. Heated molten polyester supplied from a die 7 through a tank 11 is coated on a vinyl chloride sheet sent out of a roll 1 at a film thickness 50 or less μ and sent out through a roll 4, then attached to another substrate sent out of a roll 3 by welding rolls 5, 6 and then wound on to a roll 2 as a vinyl chloride composite.
