Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the odor generated at the start of combustion due to unburnt gas by a method wherein a solenoid valve is opened after the period of time set at will from the time point of turning-off of the equipment due to the operation of a room thermostat so as to return the kerosene remained at the tip of a kerosene supply pipe to an oil level stabilizing vessel.
CONSTITUTION: After the elapse of the set period of time from the time point of turning-off, the terminals e and g of a control unit 20 are connected with each other to open the solenoid valve 6. Because the odor generated at the start of combustion due to the unburnt gas is reduced, the method is remarkably effective especially for indoor open type kerosene combustion appliance.
