Abstract
PURPOSE:To monitor the antenna power without being subjected to the effect of electric induction such as lightening surge and the like, by transmitting radiated power of an antenna after being converted into an optical signal. CONSTITUTION:Electromagnetic wave energy is detected at a broadband electromagnetic wave detector 21 located near a transmission antenna and the detected energy is converted into an optical signal. This optical signal is transmitted to a monitor main body 23 with an optical cable 22 to convert this optical signal into an electric signal proportional to the electromagnetic wave at a photoelectric signal conversion section 24. Based on this electric signal, an antenna power digitally displayed on a display section 25 is outputted to a level output terminal 27, and if the level is within a permissible range, normal display is made by a comparison discriminating section 26 and if it is outside the permissible range, failure display is made, allowing to output alarm to an alarm output terminal 28. Thus, the signal can be transmitted without being subjected to the effect of electric induction for accurate monitor.
