Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize the status of parts supply, by detecting the amplitude of an electromagnet by means of a photocell element, controlling in response to this detected signal the magnitude of a current flowing through the electromagnet based upon d phase control process, and thus holding the amplitude always at a constant level.
CONSTITUTION: A vibration type parts feeder controller is built up with a sensor 1 composed of a vibration detecting photocell element attached to the electromagmetic vibrator section of a parts feeder and a controller main unit 2. The controller main unit 2 includes an amplitude control circuit D which is consisting of a comparator unit D1, regulator unit D2 and operation unit D3. The comparator unit D1 comprises an amplifier 6, rectifier 7, comparator circuit 8 and integral circuit 9, and sends out the output of sensor 1 after integrating the signal of its deviation from the given target value. Phase control operation shall be exerted on a AC wave form by means of a phase control circuit 11 of the regulator unit D2 based upon this output signal, and the magnitude of the vibration current applied to an electromagnet M shall be adjusted via an electric current control circuit 12.
