Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve pressure resistance further, by lowering the mold of the kick of a bottom and increasing stretch due to reform of a biaxial stretch blow molding method, then raising the mold of the kicked bottom to a predetermined position, sharpening an edge of a bottom cross section linearly and strengthen quality of material, when manufacturing a bottle of synthetic resin with a kicked bottom. CONSTITUTION:The bottom part cavity 13 of a blow mold 12 of biaxial stretch blow molding method is made narrower than a conventional one and a curvature of a lower end face 13a of a cavity 13 molding a bottom of a bottle is shaped small when the bottle with a kicked bottom is manufactured. A mold of kicked bottom 12 is in advance lowered than a molding position, then, a parison 16 is stretched axially till to the position of the mold of the kicked bottom 12. Air is blown into the parison, the parison 16 is expanded also in a lateral direction and the bottom face of the bottle is molded into the dome like kicked bottom 18 by pushing back the expanded bottom part of the parison forcibly by raising the mold of the kicked bottom 12 to a molding position of the bottle. A bottom cross section of the bottle becomes linear, its edge is sharp, quality of material is strengthened, and the bottom does not deform and tilt when filled with carbonated beverages.
