Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform sintering, by adding methylcellulose dissolved in water to raw material powder of a gas sensitive body at the time of preparing LnCoO3 group gas sensor. CONSTITUTION:A gas sensitive body is obtained by substituting a part of Co of a B site of LnCoO3 (Ln is the first rare earth element from La to Nd) by >= one kind element selected among Fe, Mn, V and Ti and substituting a part of Ln of an A site by >= one kind element selected among Ca, Sr and Ba, In case of preparing this gas sensitive body, an aqueous solution dissolved methylcellulose so as to be 20-40% content is added to raw material powder and it is mixed thoroughly and then, is heated at 50 deg.C. The powder removed moisture so as to be <=45vol% mixing ratio of the moisture is formed and is calcined at 1,000-1,200 deg.C for two hours. Sintering of the gas sensitive body prepared in this manner is made uniform.
