Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure viscosity easily by immersing a measuring bar for a constant length into liquid to be measured, and operating the total impulse when this is pulled up. CONSTITUTION:By carrying a handle part 15, the operator immerses a measuring bar 12 into liquid to be measured down to the position of an index 13. After turning on a power source switch 22, he pulls up the bar 12 at an arbitrary speed by holding the part 15. At this time, the relative forces between the part 15 and the bar 12 are detected with strain gages 17 adhered to at least one of plural pieces of beams 16 supporting the bar 12. Further, the point of the time when the pulling up of the bar 12 is completed is detected with a detecting means 19, and the outputs of the gages 17 during that time are integrated with an integrator 18. The total impluse is operated by an arithmetic circuit 20. The detected value of a temp. sensor 14 is inputted to the circuit 20, by which viscosity is operated. This viscosity is displayed on a display device 21.
