CONSTITUTION:With respect to a paper support for a photographic element using a diffusion transfer method photographic element in which the image receiving element including an image receiving layer is peeled from the photosensitive element including a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer after exposure and development, a layer of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer contg. ethylene units of formula I and vinyl alcohol units of formula II as repeating units is interposed between the image receiving layer and the paper support supporting the layer. Thus, a paper support with high oxygen isolation, especially high oxygen isolating power at high humidity and low hygroscopicity is obtd. This support generates no harmful gas and undergoes no discoloration.
